Mrs. Janay Boucan graduated from the University of Georgia (UGA) with a Masters in Social Work and a Certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy. She currently serves as a Residential Support Associate (RSA) and the Volunteer Coordinator at City of Refuge. She has been working at City of Refuge for a year and she truly enjoys helping human and sex trafficking survivors and recruiting volunteers to help our ladies in need. Janay has also been working in Student Affairs for the past 7 years as a Resident Director and loves working with college students. She lives in the hall with the college students, supervises Resident Assistants, manages the hall, and serves on-call for students in crisis. Janay is also a real estate investor, a wife, and a mother to a furry friend named Ava. Janay also loves to travel the world and plans on starting a nonprofit, providing tiny houses for people in need.
