Suehyla E. Young (Caruso, SUPPORT GROUP FOR MEN) is an actor/writer/director based in Atlanta with a career that spans stage and screen. For the last 25 years, she’s worked with several theater companies, including but not limited to, the Alliance Theatre, Synchronicity Theatre, Essential Theatre, and, of course, Horizon Theater. Without a doubt, Lisa Adler is a friend and foundation for Suehyla, having hired her first as box office manager, then writer, then actor, and then, as a teaching artist. Horizon productions include, as playwright, The Perfect Prayer and Third Country; as actor, 9 Parts of Desire, The Clean House, Freed Spirits. Suehyla is always at home at Horizon and feels lucky for that. This cast and crew made her feel luckier. She lives happily with her husband, Pat, and their two cats, in Decatur.
