RUTH MEHARI (Ensemble/Cello, Natasha & Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812) is an Eritrean-American Soprano from Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia and studied Music Education and Cello Performance. It was during her time at Reinhardt that she discovered her passion for singing, acting, and performing on stage. Ruth was last seen in the ensemble of the original and first remount of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 at Horizon Theatre, Marla in Jukebox Giants: Motown and More! at the The Strand, and Della in The Gift of the Magi 2.0 as well as Little Shop of Horrors at Marietta’s New Theatre in the Square. She is thrilled to be back on stage at the Horizon! She is extremely grateful for the unending support she has received while pursuing her passions and is so glad to see you here!
