Niara Durley is a rising Senior at Tennessee State University studying to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Mass Communications with a concentration in Theatre Performance. She has been an active participant in her department since she was a freshman, landing a leading role in every show she has participated in. She has been in shows such as Sorry Wrong Number, For Colored Girls, Extremities, Dreamgirls, and numerous more. She is also an advocate for the arts at HBCU’s and pushes for the enhancement of all arts programs at these schools across the nation. Along with her acting Career she recently began her directing career and plans to pursue that once she graduates this upcoming spring of 2020.
