Cole Spivia is a costume designer and technician. She returns to Horizon Theatre after making her festive debut costuming The Santaland Diaries this past holiday season. She holds a BFA in Costume Design from Brenau University and is a hugely proud alum of The Gainesville Theatre Alliance. She has also studied at Columbus State University and at the MFA level at Florida State University. Some previous credits include Throw Me on the Burnpile and Light Me Up (The Aurora Theatre, Costume Design), Sense & Sensibility (Synchronicity Theatre Co., Associate Costume Design), The Great Gatsby (GTA, Costume Design), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Costume Design, The Dancing Goat Theatre) Thoroughly Modern Millie (Costume Design, Community Art Players of Suwannee) Disney’s Tarzan (Costume Design, CAPS), Spring Awakening (Costume and Scenic Design, CAPS) and Suwannee Academy of the Arts’ Broadway in the Park’s Disney’s The Lion King Jr (Costume Design).
