Keena Redding Hunt

Keena Redding  [Development Manager] is a graduate of the University of Florida, School of Music with a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance.  She also received an Opera Certificate and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Music from Brenau University.  Keena is an actress, conductor, writer, teacher and singer.  She has enjoyed performing roles at numerous Atlanta theatre companies, including Horizon Theatre, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, The Alliance Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare, Brenau Opera Center, Americolor Opera Company, Gainesville Theatre Alliance and The Atlanta Lyric Theatre.  Most recently, she performed the role of Mary Baltimore in Georgia Ensemble’s critically acclaimed production of On the Verge. Keena has served as Music Director for numerous musicals at Fayette County and Tri-cities High Schools. Most notably, she has served as Music Director for Madeline’s Christmas at Horizon Theatre for the past six years.  Keena also enjoys teaching voice and acting lessons to young artists.  In addition to her artistic credits, she has thrived in various other work environments, including as an Adjunct Professor, Student Services Coordinator, Executive Assistant, Deputy Court Clerk and Reservations Manager at Georgia Tech’s Robert Ferst Center for the Arts.  She is excited about the challenge of her new role as Development Manager and is delighted to be a part of the Horizon Theatre Administrative Team.
