Kathryn Muse is excited to return to Horizon Theatre as Props Designer. Kathryn is originally from South Louisiana, but has called Metro Atlanta her home for 16 years. She has worked as a props artisan with the Alliance Theatre on many productions over the past 6 years. Some over the past season include: Hand to God, The Prom (Book by Chad Beguelin and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar), Moby Dick (Adapted and directed by David Catlin from the Herman Melville novel) Troubadour (Written by Janece Shaffer with music by Kristian Bush. Directed by Susan V. Booth), The Temple Bombing (Inspired by the book of the same name by Melissa Fay Greene. Written and directed by Jimmy Maize), Ugly Lies the Bone (By Lindsey Ferrentino; directed by Jessica Holt), A Christmas Carol (Broadway-scale production with live music and an all-star Atlanta cast), and Cinderella and Fella (Adaptation by Janece Shaffer and music by S. Renee Clark). One of Kathryn’s favorite recent projects was making the frog and owl puppets for Cinderella and Fella. Kathryn has always loved creating, with a background in drawing, painting, and fine art photography, and is very happy to be creating with and for Horizon Theatre! She would like to thank Suzanne for helping her get here.
