KATHERINE ANDERSON (Rita) comes to Horizon from Raleigh, N.C. She is elated to be performing in this fantastic, fun, all-woman show! After her first experience with one of the Smoke on the Mountain shows, she feels that Cowgirls is a perfect fit, because playing at least three instruments triples the fun! She has been traveling the country performing in regional theatres from mid-western Amish country to Denali National Park, Alaska. Some favorites: The Music Man (Marian) with the North Carolina Symphony, The Light in the Piazza (Franca) and Candide (Cunegonde). Katherine holds a BM in voice performance and musical theatre with a minor in piano from Meredith College in Raleigh. Thanks to Mom and Dad!
