Esther Lang Reeves (Playwright Apprentice) is thrilled to be one of the playwriting apprentices for 2018-2019 Horizons Theatre Apprentice Company! She is a theatre artist of all kinds. For the last couple of years, Esther has been working as a teaching artist teaching playwriting to young folks between the ages 10 & 18. She is most proud of her work with 7 Stages Theatre’s summer program, Youth Creates, where she was assistant program director in 2017 & 2018 and her work on Duycker’s summer program in Holland called Bootcamp, where she was a teaching artist in 2017 and 2018. She has done quite a few other things like stage management, assistant directing, acting, and even some dramaturgy. Esther loves the variety in her work, but she is so excited for the opportunity to spend the next several months strengthening her skills as a playwright with the wonderful folks at Horizons Theatre.
