Danielle Deadwyler* is giddy to be back at Horizon Theatre. Deadwyler was last seen on the Horizon stage in Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery (Fannie Mae/Ensemble). Theatre credits: Alliance Theatre’s Charlotte’s Web (Charlotte) and The Real Tweenagers of Atlanta (Auggie); and True Colors Theatre Company’s The Colored Museum (Ensemble) and for colored girls… (lady in yellow). TV/film: A Cross to Bear (UpTV) and Being Mary Jane (BET); among other short films and commercials. Additionally, Deadwyler’s performance art theatre exhibition dispossessed: the live mixtape (2013) was presented at Spelman College’s Museum of Fine Art.
