KATHERINE LANASA
A native of New Orleans, Katherine began her career as a professional ballet dancer and choreographer. Later moving to Los Angeles, Katherine studied acting with Sanford Meisner. Her leading film roles include Jay Roach’s The Campaign opposite Will Ferrell, as well as Billy Bob Thorton’s Jayne Mansfield’s Car opposite Robert Duvall, Kevin Bacon, and Billy. She can also be seen in Garry Marshall’s Valentine’s Day and Alfie among others. Recent television series regular roles include Truth Be Told opposite Octavia Spencer on Apple TV+, Imposters for Bravo/Netflix, and Katy Keene opposite Lucy Hale for CW/HBO MAX. Notable recurring television roles include Hulu’s Future Man, Longmire for A&E/Netflix, HBO’s Big Love, CBS’s Two and a Half Men as well as Netflix/CW’s Dynasty starring her very own husband Grant Show. She is also proud to have played one of Jerry’s girlfriends on NBC’s iconic hit SeinfeldDesigning Women marked Katherine’s theater debut in 2021 at Arkansas’ Theatre Squared. She went on to play Julia Sugarbaker again at Arkansas Rep earlier this year before reprising her role here at Horizon. After many years of commuting to Atlanta for work, she and her family have recently made the Peach State their permanent home.
