Louis Kyper

LOUIS KYPER (Brian, SUPPORT GROUP FOR MEN) hails from London, U.K. where he studied acting at LAMDA after getting a theatre degree from California State University, Fresno. He then went banging trash cans and breaking brooms in Stomp on tour and on London’s West End for six years. Other theatre credits include The Creature in Frankenstein (UK tour), Sherlock Holmes in Tales of Sherlock Holmes (UK tour), Long John Silver in Treasure Island (UK tour), Count Orsino in Twelfth Night (West End), Brian in Leave Hitler to Me Lad (West End), The Inspector and percussion score composer/performer for Pulitzer Prize nominated Sun Yat Sen: In the Mouth of the Dragon (World tour). Louis has appeared in seven BBC Radio 4 plays including Further Tales of the City and Babycakes by Armistead Maupin (adapted by Byrony Lavery). Louis also loves immersive theatre with leading roles in Secret Cinema’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit (UK), Bearded Kitten’s Virually Dead (UK), and has performed in numerous immersive events including shows for Facebook, Edleman, Carphone Warehouse and Barclays. Since moving to Atlanta in 2020, Louis started Shakespeare in the Ponce, has written, directed and produced five original plays and started The Immersive Theatre Ensemble. Louis also won best actor at the LA Sun Film Fest for his role in the improvised Dogme ’95 film Final 48; other award winning film credits include Scopia and Zatanna. Louis is very excited to be working at the Horizon Theater for the first time.
