JOAN FOSTER-McCARTY* (Wild with Happy: Stage Manager) has worked for several Atlanta productions including Sweet Water Taste, Designing Women, Blue, and The House that Will Not Stand (Horizon Theatre Company), Bootycandy (Actors’ Express), and Gee’s Bend (Theatrical Outfit). Recent credits include The Nacirema Society (ASM, Goodman Theatre), Party People (Actors Theatre of Louisville), Chicken & Biscuits (Dominion Entertainment), and Sister X (Ford’s Theatre, Washington DC). A native of Chicago, she has also stage managed at Victory Gardens Theater, the Black Ensemble Theater, and Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Joan has taught theatre at Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University for several years.
