Javar La’trail Parker

JAVAR LA’TRAIL PARKER (music director) is an Atlanta-based professional actor/singer/musician, with a career spanning over 20 years. Native of Mansfield, Ohio, he is a proud graduate of the nationally-renowned Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music. Javar has worked throughout the US, UK, and Canada via London’s West End, national tours, and a host of regional theatres. Onscreen, he has also performed in the film, Jawaani Jaaneman, opposite Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan. Musically, Javar has released two contemporary R&B albums, The VB Chronicles pts. 1 & 2, streaming on all platforms. He has also been a featured soloist for Leonard Bernstein’s Mass, with conductor Marin Alsop; and at the inauguration of Ohio Governor, Ted Strickland. Some previous music direction credits include: Hot Jambalaya (Dad’s Garage), Catching the Moon  (Synchronicity), Johnny Appleseed. Javar holds a master of arts in Music Education from CUNY-Hunter College.
