Charity Irby (Acting Apprentice) graduated from Marshall University class of 2018 with her BFA in Theatre Performance and her minor in English. This Magna Cum Laude student lived her college life on the stage performing in many roles like; Francine/ Lena in Clybourne Park, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Antigone in Antigone, Pheenie in Alabama Rain, and more. Irby also spent time on the other side of the stage directing Adrianne and Adam Kennedy’s autobiographical play, Sleep Deprivation Chamber in honor of Black History Month. Irby is from Greenville, SC and is moving to Atlanta for the amazing opportunity to work with Horizon Theatre’s Apprentice Company. She is excited to begin pursuing her career as a professional artist with such a diverse and impactful theatre like Horizon.
