Beethoven meets Bluegrass in this hilarious musical! Back in the saddle for the 30th anniversary season this laugh-filled, toe-tappin’ Off-Broadway hit was sold-out sensation at Horizon. Jo inherits Hiram Hall, two waitresses and its debt. In an attempt to save the place from foreclosure she books the Cowgirl Trio as the featured act for the grand re-opening. But, through a booking mix-up the Coghill Trio has been mistaken for the Cowgirl Trio! Can they abandon Handel for Hank Williams to become country music heroines in just 24 hours?
This show is recommended for ages 10 and up.
Reviews and Audience Raves
The cast is amazing. Not only do they sound great, but they also play their own instruments, several of them each at that. –Atlanta Theater Fans
This is one where you sit back, enjoy a beverage, and prepare to have a ball. If you had seen Avenue Q when they did it, then this is right on scale with that quality. –Publisher’s Feature Service
Joyous performances…a ringing endorsement of (cow)girl power. –Creative Loafing
“Kudos to all involved- rarely in a musical do you see so many people doing double and triple duty- acting, dancing singing and serving as their own band.”
“Beautiful harmonies, very talented instrument playing all around, and lots of heart.”
“The Curley-Clay twins hit another ball out of the park with the set. Unbelievable details (including a photo with Mickey and Oprah) and an adorable cow.”
