SHANNON BYRD is an Atlanta native making her debut on the Horizon stage! She holds a strong passion for youth theatre and has contributed as an actor, choreographer, and director for many productions with the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta. Her recent stage credits include the sketch comedy show BirthDaze (Sketchworks Theatre), and she is excited to be a newly inducted comedy improviser with Dad’s Garage’s ‘Blackground’. Beyond the theatrical stage, Shannon is the co-founder and Creative Director of Djoli Kelen, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to highlighting African and African Diaspora dance and culture.
