YIJIA YU (Asst. Director, Asst. Stage Manager/Dramaturg) was born and raised in China and came to the United States at sixteen to pursue higher education. She recently graduated from Brandeis University with the highest honors in Theater Arts. She previously worked as an Assistant Director for Gloucester Stage Company’s 2024–2025 season, on productions including Wish You Were Here, Wipe Out, and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. She also directed a staged reading of The Grown Ups at Gloucester Stage Company. After moving to Atlanta last year, Yijia served as a producer for Pass the Okra in the SheATL New Play Festival. It is a dream come true for her to work on a play celebrating AAPI women’s stories.
