KAREN ARUJ is thrilled to have the opportunity to understudy for the role of Estella in Laughs In Spanish. Although new to Horizon Theater, Karen’s love of the stage goes back to her New York roots. She has appeared in productions of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons (Sue Bayliss), Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire (Eunice Hubbell), and David Walton’s The Tilted Halo along with being an ensemble cast member in various musicals. Coming from a culturally diverse family makes her a sought-after ethnically ambiguous character actor who is fluent in Spanish and Italian. Some recent TV and film credits include Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, Father of the Bride, and Found. When not performing, Karen enjoys philosophizing, pet sitting, cooking, making candy, and swimming. Big gratitude for my strong circle of love and support, especially my son, Jesse. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew!
