JOAN FOSTER-McCARTY* (Stage Manager) has worked as a stage manager for several Atlanta productions, including Wild with Happy, Sweet Water Taste, Blackberry Daze, and Blue, (Horizon Theatre), Topdog/Underdog and Bootycandy (Actor’s Express), and The Wolf at the End of the Block and Gee’s Bend (Theatrical Outfit). Recent credits include The Nacirema Society (ASM) (Goodman Theatre), Party People (Actors Theatre of Louisville), Chicken & Biscuits (Dominion Entertainment), and Sister X (Ford’s Theatre) in Washington DC. A native of Chicago, Joan has also stage-managed at Victory Gardens, the Immediate Theatre, the Black Ensemble, Milwaukee Repertory, and Drury Lane Theatre. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and has taught theatre at Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University for over twenty-five years.
