Molly Penny (Acting Apprentice) is a recent graduate of The University of Alabama, where she double majored in Musical Theatre and French. UA credits include A Bright Room Called Day (Rosa Malek), La Ronde (Little Miss), Hamlet (Messenger/Ophelia u/s), Seduced (Luna), The Importance of Being Earnest (Cecily), Eurydice (Eurydice u/s), Boeing Boeing (Gabriella u/s), serving as an assistant director on We Are Proud to Present…, and directing her own student project, a staged reading of I’m Gonna Pray for You So Hard through Crimson Stage. She comes to Horizon from a summer at Flat Rock Playhouse, where she performed in the ensembles of Mamma Mia! and Rootabaga Express!. She is incredibly excited for this new adventure at Horizon; thanks so much to Marguerite for this opportunity!
