Anterior Leverett

Anterior Leverett (Playwright Apprentice) is a writer and actress in the Atlanta-metro are, and she is excited to begin her journey as a playwright apprentice with Horizon Theatre. Under the tutelage of Margaret Baldwin, she found her passion for writing while adapting Chekhovian short stories for the production In the Twilight: Chekhov Stories Retold. After that production, she was fortunate to continue a close working relationship with Margaret Baldwin as she went on to write for 2 KSU 10 Minute Play Festivals (Eyes on the Street) and 24 Hour Play Festivals (Hashtag). Since graduating from Kennesaw State University in 2015, she has worked as a historic interpreter for the Atlanta History Center, where she gets to shed light on the unsung heroes of Atlanta. Working with Addae Moon, she has been able to develop character monologues for performers while staying true to her mission of tell the stories often untold.
