Volunteer

volunteer-3

Through volunteering your time and talents, you help Horizon be a dynamic leader in the production and development of professional contemporary theatre in the Southeast. We are always in search of enthusiastic, creative supporters of the arts to volunteer their time for any number of exciting projects we have going on.

WE ALWAYS NEED USHERS! And it means you see the show for free that night! If you would like to usher for the play currently running in our theatre, please, email boxoffice@horizontheatre.com.

Some of the duties of an usher include:

  • Handing out show programs (may/could include helping to stuff programs)
  • Guiding traffic in the lobby (directing people where to stand in line waiting for house to open, helping with traffic flow, telling where the entrance is/where the bathrooms are, etc.)
  • Working concessions (taking concessions sales and handling cash/credit cards)
