Seeking Full-Time Technical Director
Responsible for supervision and execution of all production elements for a 7-show season, all auxiliary programming and maintaining the facility.  3-5 years of technical theatre experience required.   Strong carpentry skills, good working knowledge of lighting and sound, computer and communication skills required.   Crew management experience preferred.  Position will report to and work closely with the Artistic/Technical Producer.   Will supervise interns, volunteers, and contract labor.  Salary commensurate with experience, $30-$40K includes health insurance.   Start flexible, begin between Feb. 15 and June 1, sooner preferred but will make accommodations for the right candidate.   Acclaimed for its leadership in Atlanta’s arts community, artistic innovation and fiscal responsibility, Horizon has a $1.5 million budget, no deficit and an operating reserve, serves 40,000 diverse patrons annually in our 172 -seat theatre.  Send letter of interest, resume, salary requirements, photo and phone references to jobs@horizontheatre.com with “TD Search” in the subject line.  Attachments should be MS Word, jpg or pdf.
